  • Dr. Carla Kirkland

    CEO, The Kirkland Group

    Carla Kirkland is a veteran educator and the founder and CEO of The Kirkland Group. With experience as a math teacher, curriculum specialist, and educational consultant, she has spent over two decades helping districts align instruction with standards, assessments, and accountability expectations. Her dynamic, content-rich trainings have supported teachers and leaders across the Southeast. Carla has provided technical assistance in curriculum development, standardized test preparation, and leadership coaching. She is co-author of Praxis Core For Dummies and is a trusted partner to state departments and school systems committed to instructional excellence. As a proven leader in instructional support and school improvement, Carla is the perfect strategic partner to merge The Kirkland Group with Equity Analytics—creating a unified force for accountability, compliance, and student achievement.

  • Dylan Jones

    Founder & Co-Architect, Equity Analytics

    Dylan Jones is the founder and co-architect of Equity Analytics. With a background spanning federal programs, accountability, curriculum, assessment, and data systems, Dylan brings a uniquely integrated perspective to school improvement. He built Equity Analytics from the ground up to reduce guesswork, eliminate manual tracking, and empower educators to make real-time, informed decisions aligned to the latest state accountability rules. He also co-leads the Strategic Performance and Accountability Division at The Kirkland Group, where he helps districts unify their compliance work and instructional planning into a single, coherent strategy for raising student achievement.

  • Dr. Miskia Davis

    Director of District and School Performance and Accountability, The Kirkland Group

    Dr. Miskia Davis is a seasoned public school leader with over 25 years of experience across every level of education. She went from student to teacher to superintendent with nearly every instructional and administrative role in between. Her leadership spans the superintendency, school improvement, curriculum and instruction, assessment, and data-informed decision-making. As co-leader of the Strategic Performance and Accountability Division at The Kirkland Group, she helps districts implement comprehensive strategies that connect compliance work with real classroom impact. While serving as Superintendent of Sunflower County, Dr. Davis led the transformation of the district from one of the 20 lowest performing to the highest achieving district in the Mississippi Delta, using Equity Analytics as the foundation for change.

    Principal Engineer & Co-Architect, Equity Analytics

    Samuel Williams brings a rare blend of educational leadership and technical expertise to his role as Principal Engineer & Co-Architect at Equity Analytics. A former Associate Superintendent and Director of Federal Programs, Samuel transitioned from leading district-wide initiatives in curriculum, assessment, and accountability to engineering tools that address the very challenges he once faced. His firsthand knowledge of school operations and compliance fuels a deep understanding of user needs, driving platform development that is both technically sound and deeply practical. Samuel now co-leads the engineering vision behind Equity Analytics, ensuring the platform remains responsive, scalable, and grounded in the realities of public education.
