New Feature Release: Score Exclusions for EL Students and Retesters
We are pleased to introduce a new Score Exclusions feature designed to give districts and schools more control over how specific student scores are factored into accountability calculations.
What’s New
- Users can now flag students who are participating in a benchmark or state assessment but should not count in the accountability model.
- This includes:
- EOC Retesters
- Qualifying English Learner (EL) students under state-defined exclusion rules
How It Works
- From the students' views, students can be marked for exclusion with a simple press of a button.
- Once excluded, these scores will not contribute to proficiency, growth, or other accountability components, ensuring that your data aligns with state regulations.
Why It Matters
This feature helps ensure your accountability projections remain accurate and compliant by preventing ineligible scores from skewing performance results.
