Impact Data Now Aligned to State N-Count Rules

Update
Update: Impacts Now Aligned to State N-Count Rules

Summary
We have updated our accountability calculations to ensure that district and school impacts follow the N-count rules set by your state education agency. This enhancement guarantees that only student groups meeting the minimum size requirement are included in projections and accountability reporting.

What’s New
  • N-Count Enforcement: District and school-level impacts now automatically apply state-defined N-count thresholds.
  • Accurate Projections: Impacts that do not meet the minimum group size are excluded to prevent misleading results.
  • Transparent Reporting: When a subgroup fails to meet the required count, its data will not be included in the overall impact calculations.

Important Note
  • Grade-level impacts and teacher-level impacts are exempt from this rule and will continue to display all available data, regardless of group size.

Why This Matters
This update ensures that the data you see in your dashboard is consistent with state accountability rules while still giving teachers and school leaders full access to granular data for instructional planning.
